An off-grid system has to get you through every night and every cloudy spell on its own, so the design matters more than any single product in it.
We start with what you run and when, then work out how many cloudy days the battery has to carry you through. The battery bank is the biggest cost, so that number matters more than the panel count.
We use Victron equipment with Pylontech lithium batteries. That combination has been tested and certified by both Victron and Pylontech, so you get a reliable, robust system built to last.

Is off-grid cheaper than connecting to the mains?
It can be, when the mains is a long way off or the connection cost is high. We can quote the system so you have a real number to put next to the connection quote.
